Planned Giving to Vegan Outreach

Where there’s a will…

No one likes to talk about death – or plan for their own. Nevertheless, it is important to have a will. You don’t need to have millions of dollars, you only need to have a plan. Vegan Outreach cannot offer any legal advice, but we can tell you that, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we gratefully accept gifts made by bequest from members and friends.

Like your donations, bequests can be of any size and are used to carry out the programs of Vegan Outreach. There are a variety of ways to make a bequest, and you should consult with an attorney about your will. We offer a sample of bequest language below:

“I hereby give, devise, and bequeath to Vegan Outreach, Inc., a nonprofit organization, incorporated in the state of Delaware (Federal Employee Identification Number 86-0736818), the sum of $X (or X percent of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate), to be used for general purposes of the organization.”
