Help Prevent Suffering – Support Vegan Outreach
Try Vegetarian!
In the first six months of 2003, Vegan Outreach sent out over 300,000 copies of Why Vegan?, Vegetarian Living, and Por Que Vegano? As mentioned last week, Vegan Outreach just printed 300,000 copies of Why Vegan? (back orders went out earlier this month; recent Vegan Starter Pack requests will go out later this week). The more we print at a time, the smaller the per-piece cost; by printing 300,000 at a time, Vegan Outreach saves thousands of dollars compared to running smaller batches of 50,000 or 100,000. However, this latest print run, along with shipping costs, has depleted our funds. As many of you know, we are now out of Vegetarian Living. It is undergoing a radical makeover, including a name change to Try Vegetarian! As you will see, our designer has done a superb job making Try Vegetarian! eye-catching and compelling. We have a strong feeling that activists are going to want to distribute Try Vegetarian! in amounts similar to Why Vegan?, as it is clear from the first drafts that Try Vegetarian! will be extremely effective at reaching new people. But first, we have to be able to print Try Vegetarian! It is important that we raise enough money to do a large run of Try Vegetarian! (we used to run Vegetarian Living 50,000 at a time). Our goal is to print 150,000 or more, and we need to raise at least an additional $12,000 to do this. Please donate today, so that we can print as many copies of Try Vegetarian! as possible, reducing the per-piece cost!
