Warped Tour 2003 SummaryAt the beginning of the summer, Vegan Outreach helped Action for Animals (Seattle, WA) with a $1,000 grant and all the Why Vegans they could use so they could table at this summer's Warped Tour concerts. In all, they tabled at 45 cities and concerts. The total attendance was about 500,000 people. They handed out a total of 21,300 Why Vegans!
DawnWatch on Egg Coverage"A 'cage-free' label on an egg carton can be misleading. It simply means the hens that laid them weren't held in cramped cages - but it says little about their diet, environment and treatment. Labels such as 'organic' or 'vegetarian-fed' don't necessarily mean much. Chickens naturally feed on insects."
