Excerpts: Editorial in The Sunday Telegraph, Australia's Largest Paper"All of us can share in the task of alleviating the suffering of factory-farmed chickens. "We can refuse to buy poultry not certifiably cruelty-free. Each time we buy a chicken from the supermarket or a box of chicken wings from KFC, we should ask if the chickens were reared inhumanely."
Comic Says It All
More FeedbackI just wanted to say thank you so much for the Vegan
Starter Pack. I have been a vegetarian for almost a year now, and becoming
a vegan has become a goal I want to achieve. The Why Vegan pamphlet
helped me to realize just how cruel animal consumption is, both the taking
of an animal life for our table, as well as the conditions with which this
is done. It is truly abhorrent to see the pictures of the slaughterhouse and
the animals inside them. After reading Why Vegan? and seeing what goes
on, I became vegan instantly and have not felt better than I have in the past
few months. I hadn't a clue what went on at factory farms. Thank You so much! I'm so happy that you were able to hand out the Why
Vegan? pamphlets at the Warped tour. That was where I received mine,
and that is why I have become a vegan. I just thought I'd tell you that you've
touched at least one, if not hundreds, of people. Thank you – I received my Vegan Starter Pack
today. As I was looking through Why Vegan, I literally started crying.
I had no idea what went on.
