In Memory of Polly Strand-Jack Norris On November 5, 2003, activist Polly Strand passed away. She was diagnosed with breast cancer 16 years ago. Polly worked tirelessly for animals right up to the final days of her life. I got to know Polly and protested and leafleted with her numerous times after moving to California 2 years ago. She and her work will be greatly missed. Our sympathy is with her family and friends. Click here to read more about Polly.
