Adopt a College UpdateVegan Outreach members have now handed out 53,000 pamphlets on college (and a few high school) campuses since the beginning of the school year! Over 100 different colleges have been leafleted. Please get involved -- it would be great to reach at least 60,000 students before the end of the school year. If you can, consider donating to support these efforts!
Printing Goal Almost Met!Thanks to everyone who contributed to the Winter Printing! We hope to reach $20,000 and print before the end of the month.

ChickenIndustry.com "I was almost knocked to the ground by
the overpowering smell of feces and ammonia.
My eyes burned and so did my lungs, and I could
neither see nor breathe….There must have
been thirty thousand chickens sitting silently
on the floor in front of me. They didn’t
move, didn’t cluck. They were almost like
statues of chickens, living in nearly total
darkness, and they would spend every minute
of their six-week lives that way."
Vegan Choices Enriching Actress' Life"An animal lover all her life, Silverstone, 27, said she went from a 'steak and doughnut' diet to vegetarianism 5 1/2 years ago, after learning about what she termed the 'violence' against pigs being raised for food. "'When I got home later, I started to cry,' she said. 'Then I realized I'm the biggest hypocrite in the entire world because I'm (part of) the problem.'"
