Still More on Super Size Me"I handed out about 150 Why Vegan?
brochures after seeing SSM. I actually
met about 5 vegans there, all in a group, of
course. One lady said she was thinking of handing
out info as well and was really happy to see
me doing it. One lady said she was a vegetarian
but was thinking of going vegan. I said, 'read
this and see why you should.' The theater manager
tried to make me leave, so I just went back
inside the theater and gave out brochures to
the remaining people still seated. I had a few
good conversations with people who wanted to
know if organic was more humane. I explained
that the animals all take the same truck ride
to the same slaughterhouse, etc. Kinda blew
their minds to hear that. I'll hit one
or two more screenings soon."
