Product of the Week
Carrie Barton offers snack advice: "Primal Strips are the best -- super tasty and available in on the go sizes...the larger size is resealable but I haven't had the need for it yet! I love the mesquite-lime flavor myself. Tasty Eats Soy Jerky is vegan too -- I like the Ginger flavor."
Many Vegan Outreach members will be making seitan over the holidays, especially when entertaining non-vegetarians. With the right seasoning and vegan gravy, mashed potatoes, bread, and veggies, it is a feast enjoyable by everyone!
Notes from All Over
excerpt: "'Practical' and 'rational' were key words kept in mind by event organizers. The YSEARC said they hope their laid-back approach will attract more people than staging a protest. Kuzma said handing out information and offering advice gets a much better response than intrusive measures, such as a protest."
