The
Most Conservative Estimate
Activists around the world have
now distributed more than 5.7 million
Vegan Outreach booklets. Assuming
only a net 1% change for
booklets, 100+ million
land animals will be saved from
the cruelties of modern animal agriculture
over the next 50 years.

Thanks so much to everyone
who has made this possible!

Notes from All
Over
Excerpt:
"You can call it mock
meat. Fake steak. Pretend pork.
Faux franks. Truth is, many meat
substitutes are remarkably close
in appearance and taste to the original.
In fact, a recent test of these
products produced encouraging results."
Excerpt:
"It is consumers, after all,
who drive the market. Agribusiness
will change--rapidly--when our buying
habits change. You are more powerful
than you think. Purchase with consciousness
and compassion, and the whole world
will thank you."
Excerpt:
"In June, Atlanta Hawks guard
Salim Stoudamire abandoned his diet
of junk food and animal-based foods
to become the Hawks' only vegan
player.... Stoudamire recently sat
down to talk about being a vegan
in a sport dominated by carnivores..."
Feedback from Our
Members
I was given the
Even If You Like Meat brochure
at the University of Michigan last
week and I have decided to go vegan.
I want to thank you for helping
me come to this decision and encourage
people to continue this form of
outreach as it truly does raise
awareness and make a difference!

Here's feedback
from an acquaintance who came to
my party and got an Even If:
I was totally inspired by your
gruesome pamphlet, and spent the
rest of the weekend watching Meet
your Meat and other such
videos. I've now been vegan for
2 weeks.

Victor Tsou passes
along this story:
My girlfriend M. was
talking to her friend B. today.
Over the years, B. has been learning
about veganism from M. Today, B.
told M. that she is now a vegetarian.
And why? Because she was handed
an Even If at her college
in Kansas. After a brief, excited
discussion, M. ascertained that
I was the one who handed B. the
leaflet on my recent tour through
the state. What an amazing coincidence!
And just think of how many people
we don't hear from who make a switch
with the help of our collective
efforts!
