Adopt a College Update

Our Adopt a College leafleters have been touring the country – Steve Erlsten in British Columbia; Vic Sjodin (who recently handed out his 700,000th booklet!) in New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona; Rachel Shippee in Montana; and Chris Guinn in New Jersey, among many, many others!

So far this semester, they’ve already reached more than 549,000 students at 613 schools.

Thank you for all your incredible work!

We’re already making plans for some of the best outreach of the year, which starts in June – Warped Tour!

Each year, Vegan Outreach and the Humane League team up to take the message of compassion to hundreds of thousands of concertgoers on the biggest touring musical event in North America. Dozens of activists join forces to make the cross-continent trek from city to city, sleeping little and reaching many.

We’re excited to announce the design of our new Warped Tour–specific Your Choice booklet. The PDF can be viewed here.

If you’d like to join the crew at your local Warped show, please send an email to our Warped Tour Outreach Coordinator at JohnO@VeganOutreach.org and he’ll connect you!

Emily and Melissa at Las Cruces WT Lauren at Carson WT
Above: Emily (left) went vegetarian after getting a booklet at the Las Cruces Warped date and her friend Melissa was really interested after Emily talked about it. Not only did Lauren (right) and a friend commit to going veg, they took 100 booklets and started leafleting with us!
