Farmed Animals Are Counting on You
Every week we share stories of people choosing compassion. You may think those stories start with a booklet, but they don’t. They all begin with a donation.
We’re off to a great start with our year-end fundraising drive, having raised $27,025 already – which will be matched dollar-for-dollar. But farmed animals need YOU.
Your donation today will bring us closer to our goal of raising $225,000 by December 31 – VO’s most ambitious goal ever. Donate right now to spare more animals than ever in 2016!
If you’ve been reading our e-news for a while and have never donated, now is the best time to do it! Will you take a moment to help right now?
If you’ve donated in the past, can you spare a little bit more this year?
Double your donation now and create twice as many stories of compassion! Thank you!
Already at One Million!
Approaching the final stretch of the fall semester, Adopt a College activists are still going strong! As of November 19, we’ve already personally reached 1,024,723 students at 866 schools!
Up north, Thomas Goodman (above) put in his first big semester as a traveling Outreach Coordinator for Vegan Outreach. Thanks to his hard work ethic, in just seven weeks, he reached 23,340 students at 38 schools in Ontario, Quebec, and New York!
Down south, Yuri Mitzkewich, VO’s Southeast Outreach Coordinator, has been having massive days of outreach, day after day. Already this semester, he’s reached 44,696 students at 69 schools in Louisiana, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina!
|Above (from left) are Yuri Mitzkewich, John Sakars, and Knights BARC officer Hunter Menning with the literature cartons emptied at the University of Central Florida – along with six other members of the campus AR group, they reached a whopping 5,528 students in a single day!
Both Thomas and Yuri have been assisted by John Sakars, who has traveled around with them as a volunteer. John has had his best semester yet for VO, already reaching 43,807 students at 54 schools!
Thomas, Yuri, and John are just three of the more than 500 activists who have taken part in Adopt a College this semester. Thanks to everyone who continues to get out there to speak up for the animals!
|Above: After John handed a Your Choice to Megan (left) at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, she told him she’s been vegan for over a year because of the booklet! And at Southeastern Louisiana University, Keneisha (right) told Yuri she got an Even If You Like Meat last fall: “She was super enthused to see us on campus again, and said straight out that getting the VO booklet convinced her to go vegetarian and was so inspiring she said it changed her life!”
This work is made possible by generous donations from people like you. Please donate today to ensure even more people are reached next semester!

Excellent take-rate and many positive interactions at the División de Ciencias Económico-Administrativas de la Universidad de Guanajuato.
Around five people told me they loved the booklet. Glenda [below, right] is going veg after reading it, and Ana [below, left] will reduce her consumption of animal products.
A great day of outreach.
