Kimberly Moffatt, our new traveling Outreach Coordinator, is no stranger to leafleting for Vegan Outreach, after having toured Europe and India as an intern, and doing a month of touring as an employee last spring in Utah and central Canada.
We’re now excited to let you know that Kimberly will be doing a larger tour this fall through Virginia (eastern and southern), West Virginia, Pennsylvania (Philadelphia), New Jersey, New York (Long Island and Upstate), Connecticut, Kentucky, and Oklahoma. If you live in one of these areas and would like to help Kimberly leaflet or put her up while she’s in town, please let her know at KimberlyM@VeganOutreach.org. Thank you!
After becoming vegan in October of 2012, Kimberly knew that living vegan wasn’t enough. So she started leafleting in the DC area in 2013 and has traveled on the Warped Tour, and various other countrywide and international leafleting tours as a full-time volunteer. She’s also been involved in video outreach, tabling, demonstrations, and using social media outlets to spread awareness.
In her spare time, Kimberly enjoys gardening, lifting weights, reading books on history, science and other subjects, and traveling and hiking.

VO’s Australia & New Zealand Outreach Coordinator, Sam Tucker (below, left), and volunteers Savannah Rain (below, right), Mei Wong, Kane Rogers, and Marc handed out 3,105 booklets at Deakin University’s Melbourne Burwood Campus:
First day back for the Australian semester and we smashed the old record of 2,120!
We met heaps of vegans and vegetarians, including one person who went vegetarian after getting a leaflet from us last semester and is working their way towards fully vegan!
I also talked to a few vegans who are keen to get involved with leafleting, as well as a few more vegetarians who wanted help with taking the next steps towards going fully vegan.

I met Kaitlin [below, left] while leafleting a concert at Cincinnati’s Washington Park last week. She recently became vegan and was very happy to receive leaflets to help her in her new lifestyle!
This week, I met Lord Michael [below, right], who said he’s interested in changing his eating both for his own health and to lessen the suffering of animals. He was glad to get a Compassionate Choices and a Guide to Cruelty-Free Eating to help him transition.
