Gearing Up for the Fall Semester
As the month of August winds down, we’re revving up our Adopt a College program here at Vegan Outreach!
The fall semester will be starting soon and we want to make sure you’re stocked up on leaflets. If you’d like to leaflet on your local campus this semester—whether you do it solo, with a friend or a group, or even with one of our Outreach Coordinators—place your order for literature here and we’ll get it taken care of!
To find out if a VO Outreach Coordinator is coming to your area, shoot us an email at info@VeganOutreach.org and let us know the city and state you live in, as well as the college campuses nearest you.
Thank You for Ordering Shirts!
Hundreds of people ordered VO’s limited-edition shirts over the past 14 days. Because of you, we raised $2,801 for animals! Thank you!
The shirts are scheduled to arrive to you in the next two weeks. We hope you love them, and thank you again!

An 18-Year-Old Cookbook Author + Peanut Butter Poppers
Meet Whitney Lieberman—college freshman, and vegan cookbook author extraordinaire! Interview and recipe here.
Erin Lamparter [below, right] and I reached nearly 600 people today at the Beach to Beacon 10K race in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. This is such a great event to give out the Compassionate Athlete booklets. Lots of athletic people! Lots of young people!
It was wonderful to have Erin’s outstanding help. We leafleted to people lining up for shuttle buses leaving the festivities in the park after the race. We both heard from some happy vegetarians and vegans, and there seemed to be good interest in the pamphlets. And I got several compliments on my Team Vegan shirt!
