Reporting Helps Animals!
“I don’t need to report my numbers....”
Have you used one of these ‘reasons’ for keeping your numbers to yourself?
- I don’t keep track of exact numbers.
- I don’t care about my totals.
- I don’t want my name on your site.
- I don’t hand out very many.
- I don’t leaflet often/regularly/daily.
If so, I can help! Read on.
* You don’t even have to count exactly – an estimate is fine. Take a stack, hand them out, and send me your report. Other activists – especially those in your area – are motivated to get involved when they read that even one person took the time to leaflet. They might join you – or get started themselves – when they read about your outreach. Reporting your totals gets others involved, and gets more booklets to more people!
* You don’t have to join our Adopt a College group to report – you can simply send me your totals and any comments you have. I can easily remove your name, if you’d like to be ‘anonymous’, ‘helper’, or ‘super leafleter’. We always respect our members’ wishes in this regard. You can report your totals and be anonymous on our website.
* You can send me one email a semester with the details, if you’d like. I am happy to receive reports whenever they come in. Even well after the fact. All reports are gratefully accepted – and I don’t mark them down for being ‘late’!
* You can help Vegan Outreach be even more efficient. If we know that you distribute our literature at school X, we can send another activist to hit school Y. We won’t duplicate effort and we can reach more people with the message of compassion.
All Vegan Outreach supporters – big and small – are encouraged when they read about outreach in their area – big and small. It’s thrilling for all of us – and can provide a boost to flagging energy and enthusiasm – when we read the feedback and see the numbers climb ever higher. Reporting your totals lets everyone see the progress we make.
Remember: Every booklet distributed is a potential victory for the animals suffering in factory farms. You don’t have to hand out 10,000 to make a difference.
Whether you leaflet a little or a lot, once a day, once a month, or once a semester; report your totals. The animals are counting on you!
