VO Retreat and AR2015

This past week, the VO crew traveled to Washington, DC, for our first-ever all-staff retreat, and to attend the 2015 Animal Rights National Conference. Coming together from all over the country (and beyond!) provided the opportunity for team building, strategy sessions, and of course a lot of fun!

Thank you to all the Vegan Outreach supporters and activists we met at the AR conference, and to those who attended presentations by VO staff members, purchased merchandise at our vendor table, and donated airline miles to cover flight costs for our trip!

I read a Why Vegan? pamphlet and could no longer ignore animals suffering for me. I will always be vegan. 16+ years, so far.

At the Detroit Warped Tour stop, Danielle and Jillian (below, left) let us know they received VO booklets a few years ago and went vegetarian as a result; and at the AR2015 conference, Caroline (below, right) told us that she went vegetarian because her husband got a booklet 5 years ago in Downtown DC and put it on their coffee table!
