Team Vegan Is in Full Swing!

Team Vegan members Victor Flores, Jen Mennuti, Yuri Mitzkewich, and Lauren Sprang

The Team Vegan drive is off and running! In just over two days, we’ve raised over $8,400! Thank you to everyone who got us off to such a great start—donors and fundraisers!

Every donation means more new vegans—and every dollar will be matched for twice the impact, up to $235,000!

Donate now to have your gift doubled!

We need more team members, too! Raise money to keep Vegan Outreach’s work going, and win prizes!

Register for your own Team Vegan page now.

Thank you!

Today I leafleted three campuses in Stockton—San Joaquin Delta College, the University of the Pacific, and Stagg High School—and handed out 1,300 booklets. One SJDC student told me that he stopped eating meat seven months ago after I handed him a booklet!

Leafleting the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books at the University of Southern California this past weekend, I handed out 1,500 booklets on Saturday (a personal record for a campus event!) and another 1,300 on Sunday.

Got a wonderful picture [below] with characters related to the story The Handmaid’s Tale, walking two by two, dressed spectacularly in humble robes and beautiful, bonny white bonnets. Lovely ladies who included in their meek, quiet mission to pronounce softly to any ears interested to listen, “Don’t let the bastards grind you down”—a great motto for vegan leafleters, and others, to live by!
